I am in my last year of the contemporary dance major at Concordia University in Montreal. I also specialize in salsa and have been involved in the Ottawa salsa scene on and off since 2005.
I have performed at several locations in Ottawa including the National Arts Centre theatre for the Canada Dance Festival, Winterlude, Arts Court, Paraliament Hill, Caliente nightclub,Rumba nightclub
(no longer existing), Paraiso nightclub
(no longer existing), Mambo restaurant, Festival Hait 2010, Rahim's, Salsapalooza and other personal events.
My other background training (from most to least) includes: figure skating, theatre, tap dancing, ballet, west African, ballroom, hip hop, and belly dancing.
HIPnosis Dance Company provides a comfortable learning environment allowing students to build confidence. Personalized critique will also allow each individual to improve on a personal level.
Unlike many schools, students at HIPnosis Dance are instructed by a university trained dancer. Lindsay's unique style is influenced by her many areas of training.
