About Me HILO STUDIOS
Hilo Studios is a Christian based creative videography company that strives to bring your Moments and Memories to DVD so you can relive them Forever. The name "HILO" was derived from our desire to put God above ourselves. Keeping a "High" view of God and a "Low" view of ourselves keeps us humble and gives us a willingness and desire to serve others through the work that we do for the Glory of Christ. We specialize in wedding and event videography and offer many different services from basic photo montages to full out video production. We can customize a packaged or hourly price point to fit any project you might have in mind whether it's filming a family reunion , or transfering your old VHS tapes to DVD, we can help you out.

I started making films after I realized how much footage my friends and I had shot during the days we would go skating. Since computer editing wasn't as available to the public as it is now, I would transfer the HI-8 tapes over to VHS and edit the video using two VCR's stack on top of each other, then add music by splicing the wires from my tape players into the VCR. I guess they turned out OK because my friends would use the copies in there photojournalism class to get A's. I still don't know how they got copies but it didn't bother me because people were watching them. Lately I have worked on weddings and other such events but the Lord has opened up the door to some different type projects. One being the filming and editing of Professional Angler Guy Adams promotional video, and the other, editing video for the cheer leading website cheerxs.com. Both have been interesting and fun projects not to mention a nice change of pace that allows me to be a little more creative and flexible in my film making.
