On a more personal level...
I am newly married to my best friend and, as I mentioned before, mother to a vibrant little girl. My husband is a wonderful man who supports all of my crazy whims and supports me in all of my decisions (when I can manage to arrive at one). My little girl is a diva-in-training and her best friend is any mirror or reflection. She certainly makes each day entertaining in her efforts to become the star of her own world.
I am also a preschool teacher, working with children of all ages on a full-time basis.
After always being facinated by photography, I am finally beginning my journey.
I love to photograph children, my daughter being my star model. I love being able to catch her in a pure moment, at a time when her emotions are real and honest. I feel that it is more difficult to capture a child's personality in a studio with a back drop and so prefer to make a field trip out of it and make a visit to one of many local conservation areas or parks.
I also love taking photos of nature and architecture. I enjoy finding symetry in things, man-made and natural, or finding a bright pop of color or a distinct detail that will draw the eye.
