Spotlight page 4 Preparing for you Shoot
For many boudoir photos are alluring yet they arent sure where or how to start to achieve that "supermodel" look. I suggest that you amplify everything when preparing for your session. If possible hire someone to fix your hair and makeup, if you are good at doing it yourself then even better! Your hair should be full of volume and your makeup should be darker than usual. Go all out with this and have fun, try some false lashes or red lipstick! Remember these arent your ordinary photos, this is your opportunity to shine and really stand out!
Wardrobe is another factor in the process and I say when it comes to boudoir really almost anything goes! Try something different like garter belts, leg warmers, mismatched panties and bras, stiletto heels, opera gloves, the sky is the limit!
Finally I highly suggest that you start practicing faces in the mirror before your session. You may laugh at yourself while doing this but it really helps when it comes time for your session! If you know what faces look good and what dont then you will be more relaxed during your session because you will be confident you are looking you absolute best!
