SETUP YOUR NEW PRODUCT BEFORE YOU FLY IT!!
OK Here's the score. Set up your new plane or heli properly before you even attempt to fly it. Always make every attempt to learn as much as you can about the product and how it should be set up before you try your first flight. For example, it may be nose heavy and not hover properly. Or in the case of an RC plane, maybe the aileron controls are reversed. Take the time to check it out and avoid that miserable first flight crash. Unless of course you are filming it. In that case, please post the carnage here for the rest of us to enjoy. Maybe you could salvage some of your money's worth out of the smiles you will put on everyone else's face.
OK you guys, please post all your setup tips here. I will go first as soon as I figure out how to put up a forum. For now just email me at Heath_rcfunmachines.com and I will post them for you. Everyone flying an RCFunMachine should be able to come to this page and get info on how to check out the product and make sure it's RTF (ha ha) before they crash it on take off because the little Chinaman who put it
together was too busy meeting quotas to make sure the
aircraft was truly RTF (ha ha). OK It's not funny, but just
because it says, "ready to fly" right on the box does not
mean you can skip the pre-flight check. OK here's a few
links we highly recommend you visit.
