Hazel Carruthers
Printed Fabrics & Wallcoverings
about
Hazel has recently graduated with an Honours Degree in Printed Textiles from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee.
Since then she has had a really positive responce when she exhibited her work at the Degree Show in Dundee and the New Designers exhibition in London.
You can expect to see a real flare for drawing in Hazel's work, which takes its inspiration from natural forms. Her latest designs are from her honours year project and reflect these qualities. Hazel incorporates a traditional approach to her design work, but is conscious of keeping the final look up do date. The outcome of her current collection is a modern and unique take on florals.
