Merahi o Tapiti presents
1st Annual Heiva i Keaukaha
Merahi o Tapiti presents the 1st Annual Heiva i Keaukaha on April 10th 2011 at Kawananakoa Gym in Keaukaha on the Big Island of Hawaii. This event will include competition divisions for solo and group entries in Tahitian dance and music. The event will also include vendors with their assortment of Tahitian and/or local items.
Hours will be from 9am to 3pm. General admission cost is $5. Children 5 and under are free.
Application deadline for solo and group entries is March 19th 2011. Vendor applications are due March 26th 2011. All payments must be in the form of cashier check or money order payable to Merahi. Mail all entry forms, applications, payments, and fact sheets to Merahi, c/o Tiffany Dela Cruz, PO Box 344, Keaau, HI 96749.
Dance Area Specifications are equivalent to a standard gymnasium.
Group competition is open to any dance group with a minimum of 5 dancers and no maximum. Any dancer may enter solo competition.
