Hawaiian Heat All-Star Cheerleading is a brand new team here on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. We are very excited for this brand new season that started in the Fall on August 1st, 2009! Our staff is committed to healthy living, fitness, and helping cheerleaders all over Oahu become the best athletes they can be! WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT
Here at Hawaiian Heat All-Star Cheerleading, we're commited to providing our cheerleaders with the best coaching, cheerleading skills and resources available so that they may have a healthy, bright, successful future not only in cheerleading but also in life skills. All of our cheerleaders are treated equally, fairly, and with respect. We stress the importance of balance in life, and expect our cheerleaders to be able to manage school, family, and cheerleading all at the same time.
ABOUT
LOCATION
We are looking into having our own facility, but until further notice, there are two practice locations: Location A and Location B. For more detailed information, please e-mail us at hawaiianheatallstars_hotmail.com. If you would like to enroll, simply request a registration packet by e-mailing us with the subject "Registration". HUI 'EKAHI
Hui 'Ekahi is our oldest cheerleading team, ages 14-18. The minimum skill requirements for this team include: Round-Off Double Back Hand Spring, Consecutive Standing Back Hand Springs, Heel Strech (for flyers), and Double Full-Downs (for flyers). Higher skills are recommended, but not required. If cheerleaders have at least 2 of the 4 requirements, we may consider them for this team.
HUI 'ELUA
Hui 'Elua is the junior cheerleading team, ages 9-13. The minimum skill requirements for this team include: Round-Off Back Hand Spring, Standing Back Hand Spring, Arabesque (for flyers), and Full-Downs (for flyers). Higher skills are recommended, but not required. If cheerleaders have at least 2 of the 4 requirements, we may consider them for this team.

HUI 'EKOLU
Hui 'Ekolu is the youngest cheerleading team, ages 5-8. There are no minimum skill requirements for this team.

Q. Do you have to be Hawaiian to cheer for Hawaiian Heat?
A. No, you do not have to have Hawaiian ancestry to cheer for our team.
Q. What are the team colors for Hawaiian Heat?
A. Our team colors are Red & White.
Q. Do I have to have experience as a cheerleader to cheer for Hawaiian Heat All-Stars?
A. No, although experience is recommended. We train all of our cheerleaders to achieve excellence, and we like when cheerleaders don't have experience so that we can teach them proper techniques and form.
Q. Do you accept male cheerleaders?
A. Yes, we accept all cheerleaders, whether male or female. We do not discriminate at all.
Q. Do you have an Open Team or an Adult Team?
A. Unfortunately, we do not offer a team for 18+ at this time. We are accepting cheerleaders ages 5-18 years old. If we get enough requests, we may open an adult team in the future.
