Harry W. Eichelberger is an artist currently living in Philadelphia. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. He draws inspiration from interactions with people and things around him. Ideas of self, social norms, relationships, gender issues, art history, and nature all play a strong role in Harry's work. He has been a fine art photographer since 2006 and continues to create fine art, freelance, & commissioned work. He utilizes many different mediums to create his work, not limited to photography. His diverse background in painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, glass, film, and of course Photography, allow him any creative outlets to express his vision. Harry currently has three pieces in permanent collections around the world, including two in Rome, Italy and another in Philadelphia.
Harry W. Eichelberger III is a Teacher, Artist, Photographer, Coach, Mentor, Student, and Counselor. As a teacher Harry has been teaching in some capacity since 2005 and is currently employed at The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr. He has worked with students from kindergarten to college and every age in between. He challenges his students to think critically about painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, film, art history, and art criticism.
