Glory Christian Magazine
Glory Christian Magazine is a Christian lifestyle magazine. The first issue was released December 2005. This publication's journey has included a printed version, transitioning to an online magazine with a relaunch from black and white to color and currently a NEW sleek logo and design.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
KNOWLEDGE: It is our belief that the Word of God is applicable to everyday life and when people know better they do better.
SCRIPTURE: It is our belief that the Holy Bible was written by divinely inspired men, and is an accurate reflection of Gods will and instruction to His children, whereby all Christian behavior is governed and judged.
MANKIND: It is our belief that man was wonderfully and fearfully created in Gods image. However, man voluntary fell from grace and into sin. Consequently, man is born into sin and sins by choice but by the grace of God can be redeemed.
JUSTIFICATION: It is our belief that a believer has justification in Christ Jesus. In said, Justification includes the unmerited pardoning of sins, and promise of eternal life. Added to Justification by way of faith is Gods Grace, Mercy and Favor.
SALVATION: It is our belief that salvation is free and is the first and most critical step in developing a relationship with God the Father All Mighty.
WARFARE: It is our belief that warfare is an inevitable reality when you are doing the work of the Lord. "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
"Do not be discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but Gods." 2 Chronicles 20:15.
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:10-11
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:12-13
"Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints." Ephesians 6:14-18.
HOLINESS: It is our belief that holiness is not a denomination or destination but its a lifestyle and a constant and consistent walk with Jesus Christ and God has directly commanded us to be holy. "And as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy, in all manner of conversation; because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:15-16.
MISSION
Glory Christian Magazine has set a mission to glorify God by delivering the most accessible Christian lifestyle publication in the United States. Glory Christian Magazine will inform believers simplistically, with clarity and giving all who read it understanding regarding the Word of God, His principles for everyday living, and its application in everyday life. This will be done by providing editorial content that nurtures the hearts, minds and spirits of our readership.To this end, we resolve to get the Word of God out to as many readers who will receive it.
VISION
An ever-increasing number of Glory Christian Magazine readers are living the Word of God everyday and are directly and indirectly affecting others around them to do the same.
Our vision is to see Christians from all walks of life know and experience that God's uncompromising and unmitagated Word is applicable in their everyday lives. And that the Christian lifestyle will continue to extend beyond boundaries of the church, race, culture, and geography through the acceptance of God's Word. Last, the phrase "Christian Values" will be substituted for and replace the phrase "Family Values".
GLORY Christian Magazine provides an insightful Christian perspective and thoughtful analysis of God's Word through a dynamic online experience to assist with the day-to-day application of His Word.
