Bud is a sweet boy that loves everyone. Since his time was up at a shelter, a rescue volunteer went and pulled him so he wouldn't be put to sleep. Bud is a good dog. He likes hanging out and sleeping with the kids, is great with the dogs in his foster home, and is even good with the cat. Bud is a couch potato but loves to play too. You'll fall in love with this boys personality as soon as you meet him! Bud IS adventurous though, so a SECURELY FENCED YARD IS A MUST!

Sheila is a sweet girl looking for a forever home. We are unsure of her breed mix but know that mom was a well behaved and social Pit Bull. Sheila is a large (80+ pounds), strong dog that loves to play and snuggle. She is a quick learner that would benefit from obedience classes. She lives w/cats & kids but hasn't had much exposure to other dogs. She has only known a tie out, but has NEVER tried to jump the side fence in her yard. She loves to be with people and would love a yard to run and play in with someone. If you love big happy dogs, Sheila just might be the dog for you!

LOCAL ADOPTIONS ONLY- Cash is a wonderful guy that still has some puppy energy. Since he doesn't know his own size, we will not place him with small children (he is friendly but knocks them over). Cash lives w/cats & dogs but is a rough player with the dogs. He pretty much stays away from the cat! He loves to cuddle & is calmer as an only dog. Cash plays with toys and walk on a leash. He is housebroken, treat motivated & loves to learn. Cash was NOT a stray & was never treated badly. He is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. This is a strong boy so BULLY BREED EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!

Fender is a sweet boy that
everyone passed over because of his looks :( He has one good eye & had skin tags on his face. He went to an eye specialist who determined he was born w/the sunken eye & has no health issues from it. His skin tags were removed & tested negative for cancer. He is a happy healthy guy! He loves other pets but doesn't quite have the manners he should. When they want him to back off, he thinks they are playing. He would do best w/another medium to large, active, playful dog or as an only dog w/an active owner to play with. Cats that ignore him are OK but he thinks they are toys if they hiss or run.

a lot. He needs a stable
home that will give him
time to learn he is staying there. So many people have given up on him which triggered anxiety due to confusion. Happy Tails has been taking Buddy to training once a week so it would be best that his new home plans to do the same to help him bond. Buddy only weighs about 20 Lbs. He enjoys spending time w/people, going for car rides & walks, & likes playing w/dogs. Buddy CANNOT go into a home w/cats or small caged critters. Older children would be best. Buddy just wants a family to call his. Can that be yours?

Susie is a beautiful girl looking for her forever home. the smaller pic is when she came to us. She was matted and living outside most of the time. Her owners saved her from a kill shelter but just couldn't care for her properly so they called us. She went immediately to the vet and had to have a 1.5 pound bladder stone removed! The largest the vets have ever seen! She showed no sign of pain and is recovering nicely. She loves anyone and everyone including the pets in her foster home and young children. She would love to find a new family to love and snuggle with.

Cocoa is a sweet girl that lives with a cat but is NOT good with other dogs. She does well with strangers but lived on the streets with a homeless man for a while so she feels the need to protect herself against all other dogs so far. The vets are not sure of her exact age since she has been through so much but they feel she is only 2-3 years old. She is a small dog that is ready for someone to love her! She is a heartworm and Pyometra survivor due to the help of kind people getting her into rescue for treatment :) She is now healthy and happy. You are sure to fall in love with her.

Max is a handsome boy that
is trying to figure out what
happened to his life. His loving owner passed away a few months ago & her friend was financially unable to care for him so he was surrendered after living w/her for 4 months. Now he's in a foster home & trying to figure out where everyone is :( He was thin when he came to rescue but has a healthy appetite & gained weight. He needs to be on a scheduled diet to avoid overeating. Max loves snuggling under the blankets w/someone at night. He is OK with calm small dogs but will challenge pushy or larger ones. He would be best in a home w/NO cats or small children.

Princess is an All American
Mutt. We are simply guessing breeds. This beautiful girl was found cold & alone. She was so thin & weak that she could barely walk. You could see all her bones! A kind woman saw her & got her into the car. We can't figure out why everyone else ignored her. Nobody claimed Princess so her hero is fostering her. She is happy & gaining weight every day :) She has been tested negative for heartworm & parasites & has received her vaccinations. Princess had pups at some point but will be going in for her spay soon. She is a lovable girl even with whatever she has been through. We're sure you would love her!
