British native, Alexis Garcia took her love of gardening and interest in antiques and combined it to open The Potting Shed in the spring of 2010. Located at Heather Gardens nursery on the beautiful island of Marthas Vineyard, The Potting Shed houses a collection of vintage and antique gardenalia along side unique and exquisite garden gifts, mostly from small UK suppliers and sold exclusively in America.
Growing up in a family of generations of gardeners, Alexis has an eye for aesthetic and detail in the garden. Whether its an accent piece for a special corner or a dramatic feature needed in your landscaping, The Potting Shed has something for you.
Sourcing her inventory from all around New England, Alexis works with dealers on the mainland as well as with antique dealing friends and family in England and France.
