The Welham Family History
Hadleigh Suffolk
Please scroll down
The Town of Hadleigh in Suffolk is a wonderful place to visit with it's wealth of history and many fine buildings, in the centre lies the church of St Mary's. Nearby is the river Brett with it's winding footpath amongst the trees. Friendly people going about their business on the long historical High Street. Hadleigh takes you back in time to a bygone age of wealth , hardship and above all it gives you a sense of history wherever you walk.
My personal history comes alive with my ancestors who lived in the town during the nineteeth century and my main focus of this website is about Ranson and sarah Welham with their fourteen children. Ranson was a butcher in George Street and so was his father. If you have any information on this family I would love to hear from you. Enjoy reading the pages and please visit Hadleigh soon you will not be disappointed. Please click on enter to read about the Welhams.
