It is my desire to shine The Light of the gospel (2Cor. 4: 1-6) into the dark culture of hip-hop. As it says in verse 2 we by the open statement of truth commend ourselves to everyone's conscience. So therefore I'm seeking to enlighten people through presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ simple and plain because the gospel is about seeing the reality of our sinfulness (wickedness) and need for a Savior: Jesus the Christ our Lord "who paid the price for our sins (John 3:16). Since music has the ability to motivate a person to do good or bad my hope is that TruthMusic will inspire many to live for the glory of God. (Rom.12:1,2)

Live Christ Like the MovementThe need for a movement like this....…Death, Destruction, and Disobedience: These are the ideas that reign supreme in the Music Industry today. Broad spans of listeners are being charmed by Satan the Pied Piper who is trying to lead them to Eternal Destruction, but God has provided a light to shine inthis industry that will lead them to Eternal Life. Commissioned by God, with the evidence being their talent and a thirst for righteousness, Eternal Life Music Ministry is under instruction to reach the lost and edify existing members in the Body of Jesus Christ.Utilizing God's gift of music these disciples have stepped out to proclaim God's Word. It's imperative that the message of life through sacrifice is delivered to those that are not in agreement with God. Jesus, the inspiration of the ministry's message, is the only way people will understand their life and purpose. When souls cruise down the street listening to the latest spiritual assassin God sees his creation is lost and headed for disaster. Cephas Bio
Heard any smooth gospel jams lately? Well, get ready for new-comer Arther L. Mance Jr., better know as Cephas, as he get ready to heat up the charts with his soulful, hip hop sounds. With a tantalizing flavor of his own, a passion for rhythmic tunes, and a zeal for spreading the message of Jesus Christ, Cephas started his own record company in January 2001, Eternal Life Music Ministry LLC (ELMM). Preparing to take music to a new level, Cephas is currently working on his first CD, titled Get Right. The collection will include Lord I Pray, Live Life with Me, Cry No More, and a theme song, Get Right. Cephas made his musical debut in 1998 with Grapetree Records, featured with national recording artist, Timothy Jones. The two gifted artists performed a song, A Mother's Prayer Answered, on the compilation album Ghetto Drama. Pleased with the success of this song, he went on to light up the scene in a musical video production, Kids and Guns Don't Mix, in the summer of 2001. Joined by the N-tume Jets of Saginaw, Michigan, and sponsored by the Flint Cultural Center Corporation, the video aired on the television show Flint After Dark (Channel 17). He isn't just keeping his talent to himself but he is presently working with other sensational voices such as Apollos (rap artist), Josiah (rap artist), Demetrius Hunter (rap artist), ELI ( rap artist) and LCL (Live Christ Like, rap group), all whom plan to release their own album under the ELMM name. Also, Cephas has teamed up with another national recording artist, Lonnie W. Brown (Kingdom of Heaven Ministries, Flint, MI), who will soon release a compilation of holy love songs. Cephas will be featured as a rapper on He Lifts me Up. Cephas is committed to spreading a message of salvation and healing through his music that transcends cultures and captures an audience of young and old. All in all, his purpose is to give praise to his creator, God.

Apollos Bio
Eloquent, Fervent (Hot) in Spirit, and mighty in the scriptures are words used by the beloved physician Luke to describe Apollos (Acts 18 24-28). This also describes Kevin Wallace, a young man who's intense rhymes dwarf in comparison to his passion to win souls for Jesus Christ.Kevin was instructed in the ways of God but strayed away as a minute interest in basketball snowballed into an obsession that became his god. Although the success he achieved in the sport included playing professional basketball overseas there was a growing void that was present in his life. Earthly accolades and the praise of men did nothing to make Kevin realize the true meaning of his life. Kevin then turned to the streets, and through surviving a number of near death experiences, and a series of dreams and visions he heard the call from God and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. As his relationship with Christ grew, Kevin felt compelled to write rhymes as a way to express his new found love of Christ. After meeting with Jonathan (Josiah) Lowe and Arthur (Cephas) Mance, Kevin became a member of Eternal Life Music Ministry. Through this ministry Kevin wants to fulfill the words of Colossians 3:16 so that many souls will be saved.

The world is being turned upside down again by the Gospel of Jesus Christ! This time in the form of Poetic Evangelism also known as gospel rap. On the rise in this art form is Johnathan Y. Lowe a.k.a Josiah, this soft spoken yet passionate MC is ready to take the message of Jesus Christ to another level.Born and raised in Flint, MI he witnessed the many struggles of the urban street life. After walking away from what could have been a fatal accident he accepted the calling of God on his life. He received confirmation from his Pastor Calvin Randolph (Highest Praise Worship Center Flint, MI), and then he and the pen became inseparable. While in search for a gospel label that would share in his vision he linked up with Apollos (ELMM Artist) in February 2002 then later on that summer they joined Eternal Life Music Ministry, merging with Cephas ELMM's producer/CEO making up the trio L.C.L. which is Live Christ Like.Josiah desires to release many songs preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. His hope is to edify church and restore those who are in darkness holding Acts 26:18 near to his heart.

Matthias the Castalot was born as Oaklin Mixon in 1983 in Ft. Meyers, FL but took on a new name in 2005 when the Lord drew Matthias to Himself. Since being concieved in FL, he spent a portion of his childhood in Niagara Falls, NY before coming to Flint, MI. Matthias has always loved music but only noticed his own talent at the age of 17. At this point, he shifted his focus from battling the foster care system to engaging in underground Rap Battles in the Flint music scene. Unfortunately, his motivations were fueled by selfish desires and remained in this mindset until 2005.In that year he realized: "I thought fame and success was worth the suffering of my past, but I clearly seen that in the end I would still be unfulfilled and at that point I knew that wasn't what life was about." Now Matthias has a much stronger passion, to see others come to know Christ the way he does. This is still carried out in his music (with inspirations from The Ambassador, Shai Linne, Lecrae, and others), but is seen much more through his work as a Resident Service Provider at a local homeless shelter and his love for his Wife and two children.Matthias focuses on Church Reconciliation, Missional Community Living, and Godly Culture. Ultimately, he has a desire to reach the city of Flint by using music as a vehicle for the gospel.

"Call me a Misfit not cause I'm a Misfit, but I'm in this world and don't fit ya get the pic?"Born in Flint, Michigan, Rashar Madison has sinced lived on the outskirts and inner city, making him the the unique and multifaceted person he is. His love for music began in his teenage years and he was always "in-tune" with the hottest artists in the hip-hop culture. For him, hip-hop wasn't just an art form but a lifestyle. He not only bumped it in his headphones but ate, slept, breathed, dressed, and lived it. He idolized hip-hop and made it his god. But once he was truly redeemed by God, music went from his standard to a tool he used to glorify Him. Now he writes biblical sound, culturally relevant music out of a heart that loves God and has a passion for people to see God and the world through the proper lens.When Rashar was 16 years old, he kind of just went with the flow of the world and lived to be accepted and fit in. He did enough to complete that goal but not enough to believe he was that bad or as bad as everyone else. In the summer of 2006 he was almost killed by a hit-and-run as a pedestrian while crossing the street. Within the next couple years, this, along with a few other events including the passing of his Great Grandmother, was used by God to break him of his pride and loose his grip on the world. In early 2008, Rashar surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and would continue to give up any and everything that would further separate him from the Lord.Later that year, Rashar met Cephas on myspace while seeking fellowship and a solid church home. He then was introduced to L.C.L. and they took him under their wing. After much building and fellowship he was challenged on his faith, view of God, the scriptures, while his views on music and ministry were also shaped. Through the discipleship of L.C.L. and the elders of their local church, over the course of a year, in 2009, he became a member of Eternal Life Music Ministry. Him, along with Matthias the Castalot and Yung Steve, formed the Misfits which generally involves any and every beliver who knows they live in this world but their not of it. Now a student in college and servant at his local church, Rashar currently lives in the heart of the city of Flint in hopes of shining the light of Christ and spreading the gospel any and everywhere the Lord leads. He is working on a project called "The Glory Road" which is in the works for release in 2012. Rashar knows that the Lord has much planned for him within the next couple years, but he continues to be faithful with what he has been given and is livings one day at a time.

Yung Steve was born Steven B. Lamay October 30th 1988 in Flint, MI. He was born into a non-Christian home and grew up in south-central Flint. Steve has always been a music junkie. His earliest influences were 2Pac and D.M.X.Late in 2003, Steve met the guys in LCL and Cephas in particular reached out to Steve. God used this over many months of building relationships to bring Steve to himself and His salvation. These personal relationships went a long way in nurturing Steve and building his knowledge of the Scriptures; to this day he remains close friends with them. Fortunately for us Steves love of music has never died, on the contrary he is now using it as a tool to glorify God.A lot of the hardships that Steve has faced in his past have served as a platform for sharing the Gospel. The things hes witnessed and the struggles hes dealt with (like growing up in a home with poverty & domestic violence) have made him a stronger Christian but also allow him to relate to people who may be dealing with the same things. This is the focus that Steve places on his music, sharing the Gospel in an artistic, intentional way that people in the culture can relate to. "My focus is to boast in Christ & him crucified. I seek to relate to, encourage, & offer hope to my listeners."He is currently working on a music project called The Growth which is a brutally honest, in-depth look at his life and the way that the grace of God has affected it.

Demetrius Bio
After years of living a Godless life Demetrius Hunter returned to the faith of God through the life giving example of Jesus Christ. Before his life was renewed Demetrius was submerged deep into the world's view of life. Months before his transformation the feeling of a quickly approaching change enveloped him. Not knowing God's plan for his life he began to write songs that he had no previous notions about. Following a period of studying various books and literature Demetrius had questions about the fate of the world and the reality of God. His questions were answered by his cousin who is a Minister of God's Word, and then after some time of deliberation he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He discovered that his purpose in life was to represent God in a wayward generation. His new found belief showed him why he wrote songs about faith before he had it himself. Now as member of Eternal Life Music Ministry he is using his God given abilities to be a Representative of Righteousness. Now he is the voice of one crying in the wilderness saying, "Prepare the Way of the Lord and Make His Paths Straight," because Jesus is coming soon.

Marques Bio
Saint whose real name is Marques Butler is from the south side of Flint, MI where he grew up in one of the most violent project housing complexes in the Flint area. He was raised in the Lord by his grandmother but strayed away to a life of gang-banging,drugs and sex. He was one of the first secular artists in his neighborhood, he felt a great desire for expressing his pain and emotions in music. Over the years he discovered that his words had a major impact on the people who surrounded him which resulted in him being watchful over what he spoke. Marques has a son whom he has raised since birth as a single parent which also had a major impact on his life. The Lord utilized his son to draw him to Christ and to Christian Hip Hop. Since the early part of 2006 has surrendered his life to Christ and he expresses his emotions,and respect for what God has brought him and his son through through music to this day with a gritty, hood swag . This time it's for Jesus Christ.
