What is Pixel Puffle?
"Pixel Puffle" is a newly developed game making group.
I was once making a banner for a certain sprite database website and was trying to find a scene that would look peaceful, calm but yet cheerful. I was browsing through my Sonic Levels folder and came across Oil Ocean Zone from Sonic 2. When I saw it, it had the mood I was looking for. But unfortunately, somebody else had beaten me in making a banner set in Oil Ocean Zone. But it actually saved me a lot of work. I saw it and it looked beautiful. Then I also saw the sprites he used were The Deebs' Modern Styled sprites. Then I thought, wouldn't it be nice if Sonic 2 was in Modern Style? Then I went around some spriting forums looking for a collab partner. And then saw Ryuki's Sonic Rebirth. When I saw it, I was amazed! It was just what I was looking for.
I told him about Sonic 2009 and he liked the idea! Then we told each other game ideas we had and we both loved them all! We decided to create Pixel Puffle in order to take these games from imagination to reality. But more importantly, let everyone have fun.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2'09 Edition

Sonic the Hedgehog 2'09 Edition is a modernised version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (originally released in 1992)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2'09 edition will include all of Sonic's modern abilities such as his homing attack and bounce attack. Tails will also be having his tail whip ablilties.
Death Egg Zone will become a whole new level and new badniks will be included.
