Grazing Cow Ltd of Sellerley Farm (known as The Giant Egg) at Conder Green, Galgate is a Dairy and Poultry Farm run by generations of the same family for 80 years. We offer premium free range milk and eggs at a conventional price.
Our happy cows roam the pastures around the village of Galgate, overlooking Lancaster University. They graze on home produced rye grasses and white clover. They are reliant on grass, much like organic farming systems and they are brought in twice daily to be milked.
This means that our cows produce richer milk in taste and colour, which is processed in our own dairy to high standards. Free range hens have also always had a place at Sellerley, laying quality eggs daily and we recycle your egg cartons.
Our home delivery service is Mon, Wed & Fri before 7am.

Pasteurised milk & free range eggs can be purchased 7am - 9pm, 365 days a year, at our self service drive through located opposite the farmhouse.
The Giant Egg footpath to the farm is easily accesible from the Lancaster canal.
This is a photo of our grey Fergie tractor that was bought brand new in 1948 for the farm. It is now on display in our farm museum across from the farmhouse. We also have old photos on display here for visitors.
