After thousands of miles of walking, witnessing and preaching across nations alone, Mike is now training teams of young men for these explosive walks of faith. The plan for the next two years is to continue walking across Europe leaving fire teams in his wake who will proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom with signs following.
Mike comes with stories of salvation, miracles of healing and divine provision to activate Gods people for fruitfulness.
In an age when most people find walking to the car a chore Mike Vickers has walked the length of the land because of a passion to share the good news of Jesus Christ. He is a man who walks the walk as well as talks the talk.

Last Easter the first fire team led by Richard Madeley walked from Winsford ,Cheshire to East Yorkshire - 126miles which turned out to be a life-changing adventure for all five men. Trusting God for their provision and arriving in Yorkshire with amazing stories of Divine appointments and supernatural provision.
Richard is now an Associate minister for cross the nations and speaks alongside Mike on the training days.
IRELAND 2009 BLOG
Mike preached at Longford Methodist Church on Tuesday night, after meeting the Rev. Steven Foster, who called round his congregation and advertised the extra meeting on the radio.
He has preached in B&Bs and homes as people are gathering those they know ready for when Mike comes into town.
People are stopping Mike and wanting to talk, to share with him things in their lives theyve not been able to share with others, deep hurts that only God can deal with - and He is.
You never know why you talk to certain people and how and who youll influence because of it...
Mike was in Longford and found himself talking with the Catholic priest in St. Mels Cathedral. During the time they had together he found out that he is a close friend and advisor of Jim Caviezel, Jesus in The Passion of the Christ. The priest is on his way to the States now to meet with him again.
The Cathedral is attended by Mel Gibsons mother and is where Mel got his name.
Sunday 12th July
Mike has had back to back meetings for the past few days that are continuing today with speaking in Monagham Elim Church. Praise God that two people responded to the Gospel and many in the congregation responded to the call to Arise.
Tuesday 14th July
Three teenagers gave their lives to Christ in Portadown after chatting with Mike. He was also on a hilltop in Richhill where there were a group of Christians meeting. He was able to share a prophetic word with them that encouraged them all.
On day 3 of the walk Mike had a dream that an Elim Pastor would give him the money for the airfare from Belfast to Galway. Today an Elim Pastor paid for this ticket!
Since talking with the sixteen year olds and leading them to the Lord Mike has had one divine appointment after another - one being a man that had just had his fiance walk out on him. Mike was able to pray with him and see God fill him with His love.
Thursday 16th July
MIke was on the front page of The Newsletter a major newspaper in Northern Ireland and also in The Daily Mirror and The Belfast Telegraph.
A reporter then phoned Mike in the evening for an interview and did an even bigger article and picture in Fridays edition of The Newsletter Mike was able to preach the Gospel in this major newspaper!
Friday 17th July - 60 miracles of provision so far!
Before Mike left the place he was staying this morning a woman came with a box of the mustard seed Smile Tracts that he had had to leave in Cavan. He had run out of the tracts he had been able to carry just the day before! Christians had been passing them along the way so they travelled all the distance from Cavan to just before Belfast. Wow! And the woman didnt even know what was in the box, her friend had asked her to take them to the house, giving Mike the opportunity to talk her through one.
As Mike walked into Belfast he was approached by a lady called Helen Murphy and they got talking. She had seen the article about Mike in that days paper and asked God to forgive her. However she was then unsure if God could forgive the terrible things Ive done. So she asked God for a sign and as she walked into town who did she meet but the man in the article! How mighty is our God!
Mike was able to witness to loads of people in Belfast and got talking with three missionaries, they helped him pack up the cross and took him to a coffee shop. There they had a great talk and they spoke words over Mike. They then took him to the hotel someone had arranged for Mike to stay in that night. A wonderful, luxurious hotel, where Clinton stayed! When they found out the room didnt come with breakfast one of the missionaries paid for breakfast for Mike.
Every year the Pentecostal Elim Church runs Hilsborough Bible Week where lots of christians get together for a big conference. RT Kendal is speaking there this year and Mike will be sharing at the Tuesday morning meeting.
God is so great! Mike still hasnt missed a meal or had to sleep rough anywhere. Since Longford the word has been sent along the line from Christian to Christian and he is now even having to turn down offers of food, places to stay and preaching engagements as he has so many!
Tue 7th July:
A busy day! Mike had an interview on Shannonside North Sound Radio during which he was able to preach the gospel across the airwaves. Then whilst walking later in the day he was approached by a man who said he was looking for him on behalf of his friend who wanted Mike to pray for him. So Mike was able to pray for the man who delivered the envelope and also the friend whose name was in the envelope with a €50 note. Praise God.
In the evening Mike preached at Longford Methodist Church. After meeting the Rev. Steven Foster and talking with him, Rev. Steven phoned round his congregation and advertised on the radio that a meeting would be happening on Tuesday night. He was confident many would come along.
Mike has even been booked for a meeting in a couple of days time at a B&B in Cavan with a couple who are getting people together to come and hear him speak.
GOD IS GREAT! He has provided every step of the way and is creating so many opportunities for Mike to talk with people. Keep praying for him and that these miracles keep happening and watch this space for more updates of what God is doing.
Mon 6th July:
(Roscommon to Longford) A guy called Bill from the OM base took Mike back to the point where he had left the walk and just before he left gave Mike an envelope with money in, enabling Mike to pay for somewhere to stay that night.
Sat 4th & Sun 5th July:
What amazing provision that name and number was, Mike had really suffered with bad blisters that had become infected, having had them seen to and bound up he was told not to walk on them for 48 hrs. When he got in touch with the contact they turned out to be a leader in an OM base and came and picked him up and Mike was able to stay on the base for the weekend with the opportunity to minister to German students and taking the devotions for the staff and students whilst allowing his feet the time to heal.
Fri 3rd July:
Mike had a guy walk the whole day with him, giving him a great opportunity to talk through loads of things and enabled Mike to really speak into his life and answer different questions the man had. He was the son of a man who had been in the church that Mike preached in on the previous Sunday and he went away wanting to pursue more of God in his life. With awesome timing he also texted Mike a name and number of someone he knew in Roscommon, where Mike was headed.
Thurs 2nd July:
During his walk Mike had the opportunity to chat with a family and as he walked away was worried he hadnt done as much as he could and asked God for another opportunity. Along came the man in his car because he wanted to hear more! And he gave Mike a €10 note - dinner would be eaten that night!
Wed 1st July:
A second day of walking and carrying not only the heavy cross but also his backpack the whole distance Mike followed signs to a local self catering place trusting God, as he had no money - and they let him stay for free. The lady also asked what he was doing for an evening meal and then told Mike she would cook for him and produced an amazing plate of steak and chips and washed his clothes for him.
Tue 30th June:
Mike came to the end of his walking that day, having started the walk a day early, and stood with the cross against a wall in a town knowing he had no money but God had promised to provide - and that He did! Two men drew up in a car and after chatting they took him to a local B&B for that night.
Praise God there have been twenty four miracles of provision so far!
God has been providing for Mike in so many different and awesome ways. He has not had to sleep rough once and he started the walk last Tuesday (30th June) with no money whatsoever!
He has been invited in to many Roman Catholic homes because he is ...carrying the cross of our Lord... and had many opportunities to preach the Gospel and even teach and minister with nothing being planned before he started the walk.
Here is a brief rundown of the last week of how God has provided and Mike has been able to minister into many different lives, praying and sowing mustard seeds all over.
