Staring at the message in your eyes

No lack of drive
No ax to grind

The subtle sounds
We can claim to know
He's talking to himself

I'm not really sure

These are the places and the days
That will live long and on
In the midst of the trouble times
The bloodshed and the crimes
make no sense
We have to make it right
Show more forsight
The me generation
Has run its course
So that is why

I gotta stop running
Try to make it all seem worthwhile

You can dwell on your mistakes
Fight for better stakes
Suffer someone elses fate
But all you need
Is a little bit of adaptation
You can scramble to make the train
Or linger in the rain
Looking for someone else to blame
When all you need
Is it easier to be yourself in someplace else?
Is it freer to watch the space around you

You can gravitate towards the line
Cut your losses and pay the fine
Just be grateful for the sun that shines

On the edge of an alpine woodland
Love conquers all
Beneathe the crystal skies
Hot Springs entrall
I feel complete
In this haven retreat
Theres a mountain to explore
Outside your door
It`s worth more than the sum combined
Exotic and serene
Take a deep breath
Fresh air so clean
The silver birch & the pageant larch
Emerge slowly from their chosen branch
And you know it so well
Age settles everything
Just go with the flow
Why break it all down
Or worry where you`re at
Have a look around
It`s all so very clear
Theres nothing to fear
Don`t you think that that`s worth

In her embrace my lifes on hold
Seasons lost from my view
The evening falls and stars unfold
It's a feeling I never knew
Don't want to hide no
The moment when you go
Broken dreams and misspent hours
Don't mean a thing to me anymore
And I've just broken the one thing
I can't be without
Can't describe the mood to you
To have loved and Lost
I don`t think its overstated
I can`t even contemplate it
Like a footprint left in the sand
Reminded of the path that`s washed away
As Tennyson said,
It`s better to have loved and lost
