Based in Auckland, New Zealand, singer/song-writer Grant Duncan has just finished a 12-track demo
album entitled THERE'S A TIME AND PLACE. All the tracks were recorded at Mt Eden Road Studios
from May 2009-August 2009. Please check the NEWS link to listen to some of the tracks.
Grant began song-writing upon arriving in the sky-scraping, neon-lighted madness of Tokyo in
March 2004. Initially material was written as a vehicle for the 3-piece Pavement Candy to perform
on the live Tokyo live curcuit in 2004-5, but gradually the writing and recording developed into a
solo abode, and began recording a number of solo albums at his home studio in 2006.
To date, Grant has stockpiled nearly 100 original songs, most of which have been released on
albums from 2005's Pavement Candy debut album through to his new CD There's a time and Place.
Also, Grant is currently playing bass in an Auckland original rock band. Watch this space for demo
