BIO
My name is Mark. I design for a living and absolutely love it.
Like many others, I started the design journey through college, leaving with a very lovely BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design. A lucky break
in 1995 saw me joining Barker & Ralston in Soho, West London where I was appointed Junior Designer working on loads of lovely projects including Beck's Beer and Ernest & Julio Gallo.
From then on I worked at various agencies in the capital including Smees Advertising and Mountain View gaining all the experience I could.
After a brief 'Round the World' trip with one of my mates, I jumped straight back into it, freelancing back in London, then locally, in Lincolnshire.
It was good but I needed to be in the thick of it once again....so off to London I went for a third time! Tigershark was to be the next agency,
and Senior Designer was to be the post. By this time my experience was rocketing, and the work I was producing I was extremely proud of.
Next on the employment ladder was the well known magazine publishers EMAP, where I worked within the in-house design team, Advantage
Design. This was a another great string to my bow, as I was involved with the whole process of every design project I did, from quoting to design,
to delivering the finished article.
The unfortunate progression of my arthritis resulted in me having to leave EMAP and spend some time getting myself back fighting fit.
Something went right, because in 2006, my lovely wife gave birth to our little Jack.
The rest, they say, is history.....
