So What Happened Next?
One day in the year 2007, just after Denise had graduated from high school, she was attending a graduation party. Denise's best friend Nanci called their friend Josh Gondrez to come to the party. Benjamin showed up as Josh's ride, and they all decided to go hang out at Ben's apartment. Ben and Denise began to watch a movie, and ended up wrestling and when Denise landed in Ben's armpit, she claimed, "You're armpit juice smells good," and Ben replied, "Do you want to see my deodorant?" And so it began. They have been dating for two years and will be going to college together in Fort Collins, Colorado. They believe that they are glorifying God in a beautiful way through marriage and plan to serve Him throughout their lives.
Who is Benjamin Michael Gondrez?
Benjamin Michael Gondrez is the oldest of three boys born to Bill and Donna Gondrez. His life began on October 23, 1985 in Germany while his father was serving in the Army. He attended Aurora Central High School with Denise, unaware of her existence and their wonderful future together. Ben has a passion for God's natural creation, as he commonly climbs fourteeners and loves to camp out in the fresh air. Ben has been a Technology teacher at Fletcher Elementary for the past two years and is going back to school at Colorado State University to earn a degree in Applied Computing Technology.
Who is Denise Carol Gilbert?
Denise Carol Gilbert was born in the small all-American town of Aurora, CO. She was the daughter of a humble tow-truck driver and his ameable wife. Times were tough for young Denise, often she would have to go weeks with nothing but bread and water. Despite everything stacked up against her, she applied herself in school and graduated with honors. Denise is a beautiful soul inside and out.
