About Us
Incorporated with the Mizuno Golf School from Japan and the US Kids Golf Learning Program from the USA, Golf House Academy offers the very best coaching and custom fitting system available in Malaysia.
Mizuno Golf School, the first of its kind outside Japan, is now available in Malaysia. The school was initiated in Japan in 1985. The 300-Mizuno Golf Schools in Japan, headed by PGA master professionals, Joe Thiel, provide a comprehensive set of golf teaching and education program for all abilities.
The US Kids Golf Learning Program caters to junior golfers aged between six and 12 years old. Fully imported from America, the program offers the complete package and intergrates the vital areas of custom fitting junior equipment, structured learning programs and competitive play required for children to realize and achieve their full golfing potential.
Besides that, the introduction of Mizuno National Fitting Centre will allow golfing enthusiasts access to the sophisticated Mizuno Performance Fitting Cart and Mizuno Shaft Optimizer measuring system. In addition, the Custom Fitting and Repair Centre will also feature as an authorized custom fitting centre for Ping and TItleist.
Also, the state-of-the-art teaching aid such as Flightscope, K-Vest TPI 3D Edition, Quintic Ball Roll Software, Pro Stance and TOMI Pro System will no doubt position Golf House Academy as the ultimate learning environment in Malaysia.
Arriving in 2009 from Buckinghamshire, England, James has over 10 years of Professional experience in the golf industry. James carried out his PGA Diploma at Flackwell Heath Golf Club in England. During his time there he led several of his students to the county/state team and many have since gone on to complete scholarships in the US. His success at the club and his passion for junior development, then led him to the N1 Golf Academy at Blue Mountain Golf Centre to play a pivotal role in the implementation of 2 highly successful junior golf programs, Golf Foundation Junior Passport and Young Masters Golf. Whilst there James had the opportunity to work alongside an excellent team of coaches who had previously been at David Leadbetter and Scott Cranfield academies, helping him gain expert knowledge from those working with elite players.
James joined Golf House Adademy in 2009 at Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort. James initially helped grow the industry leading US Kids Golf Learning Program in Malaysia, before travelling to Japan in 2010 to become a certified Mizuno Golf School Instructor. In addition to this James is also a certified custom fitter for Mizuno/Titleist and Ping. James uses the very latest technology including V1 Pro, K-Vest 3D and Tomi Pro in his daily lessons, and this combined with his qualifications, passion for the game and outgoing personality ensures that James will provide you with the most comprehensive golf instruction available in Malaysia today.

Edmund had a successful amateur career where he was a Malaysian National Team member in 2004 and played collegiate golf at Northwood University, Florida (2005-2008). He graduated with a BA in International Business and Management and following graduation, Edmund passed his PGA of America's Playing Ability Test and returned to Malaysia to pursue a teaching career.
After joining Golf House Academy in March 2010, under the guidance of Director of Instruction, James Partridge, Edmund took over the industry leading US Kids Golf Learning Program in January 2011. Since then, his passion for coaching led him to pursue certification as a Mizuno Golf School Instructor under the guidance of former Director of Instruction, Andrew Myles.
In September 2011, Edmund passed his final assessments and was certified by Mizuno Master Instructor and PGA Master Professional, Mr. Joe Thiel to become the first Malaysian to achieve Certified Mizuno Golf School Instructor status. In addition, Edmund is also a certified custom fitter for Mizuno, Titleist and Ping. Combine his enviable playing record, his passion for teaching and in-depth knowledge of today's equipment, Edmund provides the complete service for those looking to further their game.

From being one of Malaysias finest national amateur players and coming from one of the countries famous golfing families, Victor joined the professional ranks in 1992. As a member of the Malaysian PGA and the US Golf Teachers Federation, Victor has a distinguished teaching career working at some of the finest golf clubs (Saujana G & CC, KGSAAS and Kota Permai G & CC) in Malaysia. His continual strive towards the best in coaching practices has seen Victor gain full teaching credentials from the MPGA, Natural Golf (Australia) & USGTF.

Golf House Academy team member, Iqbal Hasraff Abu Bakar recently returned from the prestigious Ralph Maltby Clubmaking Academy, Ohio, USA after passing top of his class in the Professional Clubfitting School, added to his merit pass in Clubfitting and Assembly. Iqbal now holds the qualification of PGAA Clubfitter and Clubmaker, one of very few Malaysians to hold such a unique qualification.
Iqbal is available six days a week for comprehensive 2 hour fitting sessions, which cost RM200. A fee of RM100 is refundable if golfers choose to purchase new equipment or have equipment modified to their own individual requirements.

Mizuno Golf School
Mizuno Golf School is a comprehensive golf learning program which encompasses all areas of the game. This golfing "education" has 5 modules which can take absolutely new golfers to intermediate and intermediate golfers to advanced. Designed by PGA Master Professional from the USA, Joe Thiel, each student that enrolls receives their own Mizuno Golf School textbook, which is their reference guide to the whole learning process.
Based on the principle of "SWING THEORY", students are worked through a simple, logical and fun way of developing their swing technique in preparation for the course. When they encounter problems, their instructors help them to identify their mistakes to ensure continued learning in self practice.
Once suitably mastering their swing technique, students turn their attention to developing the on course skills of chipping, pitching, putting and bunker play to help round out their all round ability, allowing them to enjoy the game fully on course.
As progression is made, students develop difficult shots from a combination of different lies and positions to further enhance their proficiency in the game. Mizuno Golf School provides students with "THE COMPLETE GOLFING EDUCATION".
Understand the 11 factors that contribute to a successful golf swing, develop swing control, differing shots with different golf swings and appreciate own tempo, rhythm and timing.
