Criminal Record Checks: The forms are available in the RCMP Office. Criminal Record Checks are mandatory for any position held within GRMHA. (coach, assistant coach, division manager, team manager, safety person, executive). If you did not have one done last season, please ensure you do so this season.

Respect In Sport - Online Course ! RiS is an on-line training course for coaches and sport leaders. It is designed as a tool to assist coaches in identifying and dealing with abuse, neglect, harassment and bullying in sport. Must have for all parents.

Coaching Course: The Coaching Hyrid Certificate Course will be offered in Campbell River on October 15/16. (8am – 5pm on Sat, and 8am – noon on Sun) The course will be help at the Campbell River Labour Hall, 830 – 14th Avenue. This is the required course for ALL persons who wish to be on the bench during a recreation (house) game, both as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach. Registration for this course is ONLY. FULL registration is refunded by GRMHA upon completion of post task assignment. Any questions can be forwarded to Jason Fiddler

Hockey Canada Safety Program: GRMH is hoping to offer this in town. If it does not happen there is one Dec. 1 in Black Creek. 8:30 - 4:00 Online Registration at BC Hockey. Follow links to HCSP (safety) Course.

Official - Referee Clinic For those interested in reffing, a clinic will be held on October 15th _ 10:00am in the upstairs Arena Lounge in Gold River. You must complete the On-Line Pre-Task Modules at least 2 days prior to your Officiating Clinic. Although the actual clinic is not available to register for, you can start the on-line pre-task anytime Please download this form for instructions on what to do: Referee Clinic – Online Pretask Instructions Please remember to print off your certificate and bring it with you to the clinic!

No response, try again in 15-30 minutes. Must leave telephone free so clinic may contact you back. For Immediate attention call 911 for Ambulance.
