The Good News The Good News
The reason we're here is to tell you about Him.
Everything we do as a church, and the reason we exist in the first place, is because of God's gift of forgiveness through his son Jesus. More than anything else, we want you to know that God loves you and has a plan for your life!
Many spend their lives trying to earn God's approval by following rules, attending religious services, or being a good person; the truth is that the only way to a fulfilling life and an eternal future in heaven is through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
1) God loves you.
Because of God's love for all persons, He desires that you have unbroken fellowship with Him.
(John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4-5)
2) You are a sinner.
All persons are "sinners" in that they disobey God. Sin is choosing to go your own way and do your own thing as opposed to being obedient to God.
(Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:10)
3) Sin separates you from God.
Sin forms a barrier that prevents you from entering into unbroken fellowship with God, Who is holy. As an unholy sinner, you can't have fellowship with God. You are headed for a Christless eternity that the Bible calls Hell.
(Isaiah 59:2; Romans 3:23)
4) You can't save yourself.
People often think that through their efforts they can overcome the sin barrier between themselves and God. That isn't true. There's nothing you can do to restore the broken relationship with God. You can't earn God's salvation.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 4:4-5)
5) God sent His son Jesus to remove the sin barrier.
What you cannot do for yourself, Jesus Christ has done for you! Your sin is a barrier between you and God. But the Good News is that Jesus died on the cross for you and then rose from the dead to demonstrate that His payment was acceptable to God. By taking your punishment on Himself, Jesus made a way for relationship with God.
(1 Peter 2:23; Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 10:9)
6) You can receive Jesus Christ through faith.
Faith is trusting in what Jesus has done for you rather than trusting your own efforts to restore fellowship with God. Faith is complete reliance on Christ to put you in right relationship with God, allowing Him to live His life through you. Faith also involves repentance or genuine sorrow for sin and willingness to turn away from sin.
(John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10)
7) Through prayer you can trust in Jesus Christ.
Admit to God that you are a sinner. Express sorrow or repentance for your sinfulness. Ask Him to forgive your sins. Invite Jesus into your life as Savior and Lord. Commit yourself to live for Him.
If you just prayed to receive Christ for the first time, please give us a call (803-276-3785) or email us and let us know! We would love to help you grow, because accepting Christ is just the beginning of an awesome life-long journey!
What We Believe
What We Believe
And why we Believe it.
We believe . . . that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and without mistakes as originally written. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the only unfailing rule of faith and practice for the Christian life.
( Ps. 19:7-11 ; Prov. 30:5 ; 2 Tim. 3:16-17 )
We believe . . . in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.
( Gen. 1:26 ; Matt. 3:16-17 & 28:19 )
We believe . . . in the deity of Jesus Christ; He is God the Son, the 2nd person of the Trinity. On earth he was 100% God and 100% man. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross and His bodily resurrection. He ascended to heaven and will return again to earth to reign as King of kings.
( Isaiah 7:14 ; Luke 1:26-35 ; John 1:1-5 , 14 )
We believe . . . that man was created by and for God; that by man's disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice. In this natural state of a sinner, man is lost, without hope and unable to obtain righteousness.
( Rom. 3:19-23 & 5:12 , 18 ; Eph. 2:1-3 , 12 )
We believe . . . that Salvation is Gods free gift to us, but we must accept it by faith. First, there must be repentance from sin and then faith towards Jesus Christ. Righteousness results from our faith in the blood of Jesus and is totally separate from our works.
( John 14:6 ; Acts 3:19 & 4:12 ; Rom. 3:23-24 , 5:17-19 & 6:23 ; 2 Cor. 5:21 ; Eph. 2:8,9 )
We believe . . . in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit working to convict people of sin, save and indwell the repentant believer, guide true believers in all truth and to give spiritual gifts. The operation of spiritual gifts and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all believers today as promised. The purpose of spiritual gifts is to build and sanctify the Church and confirm the power of the Gospel. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts which must always operate in harmony with the Scriptures.
( Matt. 3:11 ; Luke 11:13 ; John 7:37-39 & 16:7-14 ; Acts 2:1-4 , 8:14-17 , 10:44-47 & 19:1-6 ; 1 Cor. 12 & 14 ).
We believe . . . that Divine Healing is for today and is part of Gods plan of salvation. Healing of the sick is illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus, and included in Jesus commission to His disciples.
( Ps. 103:2-3 ; Isaiah 53:5 ; Matt. 8:16-17 ; Mark 16:17-18 ; Acts 8:6-7 ; 1 Cor. 12:9 , 28 ; James 5:14-15 ).
We believe . . . in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit- who is the Lord Jesus Christ. This was commanded by Jesus for all who believed in Him.
(Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:38, 10:48, & 19:5; Rom. 6:3-7; Col. 2:11-15)
We believe in observing the Lords Supper as a memorial to Jesus' death, resurrection and second coming. (Luke 22:13-22; 1 Cor. 11:23-32).
We believe . . . in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God's forgiveness in His Son.
(Matt. 24:30-31; 1 Cor. 15:50-58; 1 Thes. 4:13-18; Heb. 9:27; Rev. 20:4-6,11-15)

Salvation Today can be a new day
It all starts with a Simple Prayer.
If you don't know the peace that comes from living a life with
Jesus and you're ready to begin, this is the place for you!
The Bible says in Romans 10:9:
"If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe
in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will
be saved."
It's that simple! Confessing with your mouth and believing in
your heart that Jesus was who He said He was is our means
of Salvation because of God's grace. And the best part is,
you can receive this gift of grace right now. You can pray
something like the prayer below. But remember, speak from
your heart to God and use this prayer as a guide only.
Heavenly Father, I am a sinner in need of help. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that He died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life. I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless.
I believe in my heart that you raised Him from the dead. Please, Jesus forgive me for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart. Please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart and cleanse me and make me a new person. I need you as my personal Lord and Savior today.
I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on and help me to live for you the rest of my life.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Congratulations! If you just said this prayer (or a similar one), you just made the most important decision of your life! We would love to hear from you and encourage you in your new decision. Please contact us by clicking "Yes!"

Giving is a part of our worship to God. It has been said that you can tell nearly everything about a person by the way they spend their money. Whether you are tithing in obedience to Malachi 3:10 or contributing over and above your tithe as an act of sacrificial generosity, your money will help us minister Gods hope and healing to South Carolina and beyond.
