Born in Rochester, NY, Grace Kathryn was introduced to the art of photography at a young age. Her grandfather was employed at Kodak back in the days of 35mm film, and around age 5, Grace received her first film camera from him. Now, many years (and cameras) later, she relies on a Cannon DSLR to capture her shots.
Since receiving her first camera, Grace has spent years photographing anything and everything. Many photos turned out less than perfect, but the experiences have increased. She has photographed everything from landscapes, to people, to theatre shows. Her goal is to have her photos in magazines and newspapers everywhere.
Grace is married to Anthony T. Carter, a local Rochester writer/director. She enjoys travelling, music, theatre shows, and writing children's stories.

...to my online portfolio. In the gallery, I've put a selection of my photography for you to look through. Enjoy!
I use a Canon XSi to capture most of my shots. However, there are a few in my portfolio that were taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZK. My preference is the Canon, so I rely on that especially during portraitures and theatre events.
All of my photos are the raw file. The only changes that have been made are the transformation of a few into black and white or a shade of sienna. I believe that a good photographer can capture the moment and not have to digitally enhance drastically, or even at all, in order to make it appeal to the viewer. While some people may not agree with me, I think that my work speaks for itself.
