The Bible says that our God is like a consuming fire in this world. Because of this we believe that our lives with Christ should be lived out boldly as we follow Him. The way of Jesus is a radical and dynamic movement. Join the High School students Sunday mornings in the youth room as we explore what it means to be a part of The Movement that has spread across the globe. Have you joined the Movement? Join us on Wednesday nights for Fire-Starters, where the Jr. high and High School worship together. We believe that our whole lives should be lived out as a sacrifice up to God -who Himself is a consuming fire. Join Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30 in the Youth Room for a time of dynamic lessons that incorporate a verity of multimedia, games, hands on activities that naturally engage the youth into the learning process. At Firestarters we don't just talk and learn about God -we experience God through His word.
Our current theme for our Wednesday night Bible studies is Exiles. Throughout the Bible Gods people are described as living as exiles, aliens, and strangers in this world. This is because God has set his people a part to live in a radically different way than the world around us. Come and discover what living a set-apart life in Christ is all about!
Don't miss Spring Sing 2011: Welcome Home. Spring Sing celebrates the things that matter most in the lives of our students, staff and alumni - Home, Heart, Heroes, Harding, and Heaven. Join Hosts Sam Barker and Cameron Frazier and Hostesses Caroline Snell and Tori Wisely as they guide you through a joyous and exciting homecoming. Don't miss a chance to find your way "home." Spring Sing 2011 will be presented April 21, 22, 23 in the Benson Auditorium at Harding.
This year the Tulsa Workshop will be featuring Cafe Sol for teen attendees. This will be a coffee shop environment to pride time for forums, discussion oriented teaching and fellowship just for teens! There will even be scheduled open mic sessions for teens to express themselves through their talents and artistic mediums. The Tulsa workshop takes place from March 23-26, in Tulsa, OK.
