Ever since I was a little girl I have possessed a flair for fashion and style . I truly believe it is just part of my jeanetic makeup - my grandmother and Channel, my mother and Pucci, and myself and Laura Ashley and later Dolce & Gabbana, all paired with amazing unique label-less finds from boutiques around the globe. It is truly a love for all things beautiful; quality over quantity. Now that is fashion, but style, style is to know first, who you are; and the adorn yourself accordingly ( Epictetus). It is exactly this knowing of oneself that is the reason I love being a styliest and image consultant; to help men and women alike discover and own their unique style. How we dress sends a message about who we are, or at least who we want the world to perceive us as. How we dress is an individualized language that speaks to society about who we are. It dictates how others will respond to us, what assumptions they will make about who we are. I want to help others properly convey themselves with a better understanding of how to shop for their body, budget, lifestyle, and milieu; helping them to obtain confidence through enhancing and accentuating their assets. While I love the art of fashion; the wildly beautiful runway shows of John Galliano, for example, maintaining that fashion is not relevant unless you can live your life in it. Thus, my style philosophy: Be yourself, never betray your personality. Discover who you are and always have your style accentuate your personality. Fashion trends come and go, but true style and confidence is everlasting. It is about presenting your best self: always dress each day to your engagement of the highest level of expectation, and you will always be best self ready. xoxo
