This year will there be Knuckleheads on stage!BIOWho Are Gil Edwards and the Knuckleheads?First we should start with Gil:Gil is a singer songwriter that has been working on stage for over 30 years he has released 2 solo CDs which sold well, he has worked with many of the best musicians around. Gil plays about 250 dates a year, all over the world. He has over the past few years been in search of a band that would share his musical opinions. That is where the Knuckleheads come in.When playing at the Norwegian Super Rally Gil had the oppertunity to be aquainted with "Werner Theunissen" (Bass) and "Benna Sörman" (Drums) then as the rythym section with the great Swedish rock band The STHLM Cowboys. they seemed to run in to each other at event after event, and soon became friends. As soon as Gil Heard Benna and Werner were leaving their band he ask them if there was any interest in doing something with himSeveral years before Gil had a touring band following the release of his first CD. In this band was a truely gifted guitarist Named "Hans Petter Vik". After that band broke up Gil always missed working with "Petty" and was thinking often about how he could make this happen agian.In the formation stages of the Knuckleheads there was talk about adding a solo guitarist to the mix, and Gil suggested Petty. After some back and forth decided to take petty on a six day Swedish tour. The job was a success and the band was completeNow they are on their way to a stage near you .
