Day 1 Activity
Students will learn safety and security rules to protect his/her identity online. Links will take you to lesson plans and activity sheets on CyberSmart! Curriculum.

Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA)
The Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) is a federal law enacted by Congress to address concerns about access to offensive content over the Internet on school or library computers. GCCISD internet safety policy includes technology protection measures that block or filter Internet access. All online activities are monitored.
This site provides the teacher with activities for Online Safety, Digital Citizenship and Ethics, Cyberbullying, Internet Research and Digital Literacy.
Each topic has a video and lesson by grade level. Lesson planning: one topic a day for one week at the beginning of the year or when a refresher activity is needed.
