Joy was etched on each face, particularly the senior members, some of whom were there from the time Rev. Ridley usherwood first led the congregation. no fewer than 10 pastors had laboured with them and it was fitting that Rev Dr. Norman Gooden, a former pastor and now District overseer, should lead this service. among the attendees were Rev Dr.R.O. & sis .Phllis brown, Under Whose oversight the building was purchased; Rev Shakes and his family- former pastor and Rev. Brian Robinson who gave an insightful sermon on the role and function of the church. Our Head Office in the UK is located at Overstone, Northampton and the International Headquarters are in Cleveland, Tennessee, USA. Our Pentecostal roots date back to 1886 in Tennessee when a group of eight earnest Christians had a deep yearning for a closer relationship and life with Christ. Here in Peterborough. Here in the United Kingdom the Church has over 7,500 members, 98 churches and 7 missions.
