Services
I teach the art of horse riding to everyone who would like to develop a way of riding and communicating with the horse with the simplest and the lightest of aids. I have ridden dressage to an advanced international level in South Africa which they term in Europe the Small Tour which is competing at Prix st Georges level and Intermediare 1.
I make the rider aware of the body position and how it influences the horse and the way that it performs. I instruct in the northern and eastern Gauteng regions namely Pretoria and East Rand. I am available to do clinics as well but need to be booked well in advance. I am also a dressage judge in the Gauteng region. I teach all disciplines and was qualified through the SADF in 1981 by the legendary Cmdt Pieter Starke.
I teach all disciplines ranging from
Dressage, Show jumping, Showing, Equitation, Eventing, Endurance, Polocrosse and Military Gymkhana.
My prices at present are :
R300 for 45 min lesson
and
R250 for 30 min lesson.
(Payments must be made upfront before each lesson)
My method of teaching is to get the horse to ride using the minimal of aids from the rider but listening to the riders body. The horse must be forward and enthusiastic in his desire to work for you.
