Marcy Dronen is a lifetime resident of North Dakota. She graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with majors in art and music. In 2005, Marcy earned a Master of Science degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead in Curriculum and Instruction. She has taught band and art in the Fargo Public Schools since 1998.
Currently, Marcy teaches art at three Fargo Public Elementary schools. In 2010, she taught a class at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo in conjunction with the Beatles White Album Exhibition.
Marcy is a member and past president of the Red River Watercolor Society and a member of FM regional and national art shows. For over ten years, Marcy has participated in the annual RRWS 8th Street Art Sale in Fargo.
In addition to her art endeavors, Marcy plays French horn in the Lake Agassiz Concert Band and a brass quintet.
Marcy joined Gallery 4 in 2011.
