I am the happy friendly mobile disco service who promises to work hard to tailor your disco to how 'you' want it, after all, it's your party.
I promise to deliver clear audio from the 100% digital sound system, and I can also be heard clearly on the microphone too, no mumbling. I also have the ability to work and read the crowd, therefore i don't play what 'I' like, I play your favourites and whatever else that i can see is giving people a good time. I listen to my favourites in the car, not at your party.
I am certainly not the most expensive, but at the same time, I don't claim to be the cheapest either. I can be heard on 102.5FM The Bridge every Saturday lunchtime, so you can hear that total disco isn't a bedroom setup, or someone who is trying to be a disc jockey, I really am, and I promise I will deliver a top quality party.
The experience and quality of the equipment & DJ reflect in the prices I charge, in some cases, I can work out to at least £200 cheaper than some mobile discos.
I have done many a happy disco at venues such as the Clarenden Suites, Quality Comfort Hotels and the Britainnia Hotel, to name a few. Big outdoor festivals for Volkswagon and huge club nights for Slinky and Sundissential, to Uni nights for students. My experience spans the board.
If you want an 80s themed night, or you'd like a function where the DJ plays predominantly 80s, then look no further. Having worked for the 80s theme bars, 'Reflex' at 3 of their venues throughout the Midlands, i can promise you the best music from that era.
Now then, having said that, I also held down a gig at Flares, the 70s bar. Big on Flared trousers and kipper ties, medallions and platform shoes, all with a big hairy afro Leo Sayer hair style, then again, I can certainly entertain from that era and definately know the score.
Now then.....I'm not taking the mickey, but 90's........I've worked at 2 of the Midlands 90s bars, 'Babylon'. So, if 90's party or cheese is your fave, 90s dance or the 90s boy / girl bands, then hey ho, no problemo. Brit Pop and beyond is where we take the 1990's. It's all ready to go.
All in all, I really will do my best to make you feel comfortable with what you want, after all, that's what I'm here for.
Everything from the rock 'n' roll 1950s through to today, I'll play it all. Taking in the swinging 60s, super 70s, the 80s, 90s and the noughties.
My experience of working the big venues, such as Flares for the 70s, Reflex for the 80s and Babylon for the 90s means I can tailor the music to any era you may want, or, my vast knowledge of each era can shine through when playing old classics that you had forgotten about.
Also, on my side is the experience of working the big name high street bars too. Yates, Litten Tree and O Neills to name a few, so I really can play everything across the board, covering all genres.
I am so comfortable with different styles of music, I even offer the option of choosing the whole music. I can play any song, at any time you want. Playlist the function if you require, I really do work to please you.
Also, if you have a special song you want playing on the night, I promise to do this.
My music library is so vast I am pretty sure it is 2nd to none, and because I work on digtial equipment, I am capable of carrying over 150,000 songs to each function. So, I won't put an extra charge on carrying more music, because to me, 150,000 songs weigh the same as 2.
Also, if you've been shopping around and reading what other DJ's have put on their websites, you may have come across the 'Bigger is better' attitude. Well, in my opinion, it's quality, not quantity. I don't need a huge lorry to carry the equipment with. This is never more obvious than a Status Quo gig in the 1970s. Remember the huge banks of amps and speakers they used to need to put out a certain amount of power? Well, now they probably use just 25% of the gear they used to. This is due to equipment getting smaller and more powerful, and my digital sound system is one of the smaller ones, with a nice big sound to it.
So, unless these DJ's are carrying around large video screens with them, don't let them fool you into the 'Size Matters' scenario. It's quality, and thats what I am big on.

Can you get a free quote?
Yes, all quotes are no obligation and the numbers you need to call are at the top of the page. Or, text me, and i'll ring you back, to save your bill.
Can you request a specific type of music?
Of course you can, it's your function so you choose what 'you' want.
How do i secure a booking with you?
It is easy, honestly. If I'm not already booked for that date then we're good to go, it really is that easy. A £20 deposit secures the booking.
How do you pay?
The outstanding amount due is payable either at the beginning of the function, or in full by cheque, 14 days before the date of the function.
Dress Codes?
That is up to you. I can wear smart casual clothing or a shirt and tie / suit. I will ask you this on the booking confirmation forms.
Once booked, will i sell to another DJ?
Oh no, I always do the functions myself. Some DJ's sell the gigs to cheaper DJ's for a lesser price, leaving themselves open to more bookings for that night. I promise that it is 'Me' who will turn up, not Mr. Random from whatshisface roadshows. Book with me, you get me.
Do i take requests?
Oh yes. That can be an integral part of any function. It lets people get 'involved' in the proceedings, and you would be surprised how good people feel when the DJ plays their request. I actively encourage it.
Do you want to make announcements?
If your likely to need a microphone for part of the night, then I can easily do that.
Can I play exactly what you ask for?
Oh yes, of course i can. I can even plan each track, in order if you want to go that indepth. Other than that, I'll supply all the favourites from whatever genre or era you request. I can do 60s nights, 70s, 80s, 90s or noughties. Oh, and i won't repeat the same songs every half hour either.
Will i be drinking?
No. I'll be driving to and from the function so definately no alchohol. Soft drinks yes, as the throat can get dry when chatting on the mic.
Unforseen Circumstancs? What Ifs?
Right, from time to time we all have accidents, and I am no different. I'm not clumsy though :-) If for some reason I am taken ill, have an accident or the equipment suffers damage, then I will still make sure you have your disco. It may not be me, or it may be me with someone elses equipment, but either way, you won't be left dissapointed.
If i haven't managed to answer one of your questions here, then please don't worry. You can drop me an email rather than chatting, (if that makes it more comfortable) at info_totaldisco.co.uk. I will get back to you as soon as i read the email. If you prefer you can ring me on 01902 846230 or call/text 07955 77 21 21.
