The internet and the advent of digital technology has been a tremendous resource to this end.There are quite a few organizations today who claim to be acting in the best interests of artists but fall short, going back to the days when artists got nothing for their creative work, while their labels and managers made all the money. Beyond the frustrations these organizations thrust on the artist, they also rob the artist of valuable time and even more valuable creative energy. Why can't the composers and musicians have a more personal relationship with the film-makers? A film contains two main elements, video and audio, so why isn't there a network for both film makers and music makers?Independent Media Pros (IMP) was created to enhance the collaborative relationship between the directors and the composers, bands, and sound-designers. Our goal is to support independent artists as well as provide a complete scoring service for any film project.
