Hey everybody!!! After a 2+ year hiatus, the morning after is BACK!!!! For those of you who do not know what this is all about, it's a short story of the events of the weekend in Asking Andy world through the eyes of moi, Keith. I have been lax with this in the past, hence it's 2+ year absence, but I will be diligent about this moving forward, so check back after the weekends to see what happened if you missed it.
This past weekend... Friday night, Darrell and I played acoustic at the Porch in Myerstown. This was a small little place with incredible food and a great beer selection. We played from 9-12:30 and pulled off a bunch of new songs that we never tried acoustic before. I can't say they were all whopping sucesses, but all in all, not bad. Keep your eyes open for your next acoustic show!!
Saturday night - Westshore Hardware Bar. There were 3 bands and we were there to finish up the night. People in Planes, a UK based band opened the night followed by national recording artist PopEvil. If you have not seen these guys, they are great!! make sure you catch a show if you can. After they warmed up the crowd for us we kept the party going and made sure everybody had a great time until 2 am!! Lee, the singer from PopEvil did a shot out of the sheep's ass, which is always fun. Some guy handed me a pill on stage?!! guess he thought I was going to take it.. then he asked for it back if I didn't want it. I obviously gave it back, but WTF?!?! weird!! The evening ended with Asking Andy on the PopEvil bus and the rest, as they say, is history...
