After a standout college career as a receiver at Penn State setting a school record for most catches in a game (13), and dawning the cover of Sports Illustrated, Freddie has a history as a player in the National Football League (Falcons '96 - '97, Colts '98, Lions '99), a pastor, a public speaker and author. He is the founder and president of Unlock the Champion, an organization determined to empower men with tools to Love & Lead their families, as well as equip youth with fundamental life skills essential for character development to be successful in life and at home.Today, Freddie travels across the country speaking on such issues as family, character development, leadership, and personal growth. To date, Freddie has spoken to thousands helping to empower people to not be imprisoned by the pain of their past. He is a National Spokesman for Tony Dungy's organization, All Pro Dad.

All Pro Dad is Family First's innovative program helping men to be better fathers. As an All Pro Dad National Spokesmen, Unlock the Champion has an opportunity to participate in NFL/All Pro Dad Father & Kid Experiences across the country in NFL cities. These events inspire and equip fathers to be actively involved in their children's lives.

The Freddie Scott Show is all about the issues of family, fatherhood, and how any person, regardless of their past or mistakes, can successfully love and lead their family. If you are looking for comment-sense, down to earth advice and tips about your family, then this show is for you.The Freddie Scott show features powerful testimonies from professional athletes and entertainers from I AM SECOND, as well as Play of the Day advice from Tony Dungy’s organization, ALL PRO DAD.Our show covers a variety of topics including: parenting, time management, marriage/relationships, goal setting, finances, character development, and fatherhood. The Freddie Scott Show is broadcast live every Monday at 9 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Sports Channel.
Each year, Freddie Scott is invited to share his practical approach to family and fatherhood with thousands of people across the country. Freddie is more than just an author and former NFL football player; he is a teacher who challenges and motivates others with his real-life stories, humorous anecdotes, and biblical principles that he backs up with his live-it-out approach to fatherhood.Freddie, and the Unlock the Champion team includes experts in leadership, teamwork, relationships, vision, success, and money management.
Starting in the Summer of 2012, Unlock the Champion will have its first football camp to focus on developing youth both on and off the field in Birmingham, AL. Our camps focus on character development, goal setting, and financial education.
