Born in Miami, his artistic talent was encouraged at Miami Jackson High, where his art teacher entered his painting ''Streets of New-York'' in a competition; Frank won a Scholastic Award medal for achievement in Art. After immigrating to Canada in 1967, he attended Art school the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. He and his wife, Barbara, moved to the Laurentian town of Gore in 1976 where they raised their twin daughters.He has used this great region has a canvas for numerous paintings. Frank says: '' I enjoy watercolors the most as I work quickly and can usually finish most of my paintings within an hour. This way I keep it fresh and not overworked.''Now partially retired he works seasonally at Mont St.Sauveur. Group shows in Morin Heights, Brownsburg and Pointe-Fortune, Qc. His works are also part of private collections in St.Adelè, Lachute, Boston, Toronto, Parliment Hill and Winnipeg.He is a member of Arts Morin Heights.

The recent Vernissage and Art Show in Morin Heights was a great success. Frank sold one painting to the new N.D.P. Member of Parliment, Mylène Freeman : Argenteuil--Papineau--Mirabel - Quebec.Sales for the entire show were just over $4000.00.Until the end of August, one piece of art work from each artist can be seen at the library in Morin Heights. I hope you will drop in. Frank will be there on Thursdays.You will notice several painting in his portfolio have a SOLD description. These are unavailable. New paintings will be added to the portfolio soon. Keep coming back to see the new additions.
