Each day from April 20, 2007 April 20, 2008 I captured one image via Polaroid.
I limited myself to one Polaroid per day, carrying the camera wherever I went just waiting for that image to occur so I could capture that day. The collection chronicles ups and downs, significant moments, and many days were nothing spectacular happened. It truly represents life in a way. Yet so much of a day cannot be captured in one image alone.
This project was a process, a year-long piece of documentation.
Each Polaroid embodies a way of looking at the world and explores the question, What is it about this image that made it represent a day?
It is art of the everyday.
It is simultaneously mundane and voyeuristically intriguing.
Each image is as essence, a moment, snippets of time.
It is meant to ask what is a moment?
