La Fondazione Foucault nasce nel 2010.
La Fondazione ha sede nel Palazzo Van Wittel in Napoli.
L'edifico detto palazzo liquido fu progettato dall'architetto Étienne-Louis Boullée.
Obiettivo prioritario della Fondazione lo studio dei rapporti fra arte contemporanea e filosofia.
La Fondazione si occupa anche dello sviluppo turistico mediterraneo promuovendo locations poco note.
E' sede di un archivio fotografico e di una biblioteca specializzata [oltre cinquemila volumi]. Notevole il Fondo Cavaldi con le opere fotografiche dell'artista americano RUSS COLOMBO.
Focault Foundation is born in 2010.
The foundation is based in the Van Wittel Palace in Naples Italy.
The building known as liquid palace was designed by architect Étienne-Louis Boullee.
The Foundation aims to study the relationship between contemporary art and philosophy.
The Foundation is also involved in tourism development by promoting Mediterranean unfamiliar geographic locations.
It houses a photographic archive and a specialized library [more than five thousand volumes].Interesting is Cavaldi Fund with american artist RUSS COLOMBO's photographic works.
