HOME Skidmore College New Energy Economy Forum
The Skidmore College New Energy Economy Forum (NEEF) is Skidmore College's interpretation of a clean energy forum. It will highlight the most unique, relevant and tangible clean energy issues to the Skidmore and Saratoga Springs communities. We will have multiple speakers and panels discussing wind, solar, geothermal, and other innovative forms of renewable energies.

Jeff Goodell - Local author and Contributing Editor to Rolling Stone Magazine
Peter Olmsted - Solar Advocate at the Vote Solar Initiative, Skidmore Alumnus
Sam Harrington - Environmental Director at Ecovative Design
Gabe Stinson - Solar Thermal Specialist at Alteris Renewables and The Radiant Store, Skidmore Alumnus
Jim Adams - President of U.S. Operation for Natural Power, Renewable Energy Consultancy
Additionally, the event will include a scheduled discussion period for students to talk to leaders in today's energy economy, including business and financial leaders, political actors, energy innovators, and other actors who can share their experiences in the field.
We will also have a tabling session, providing demonstrations of clean energies like geothermal and solar thermal energy, information from local and regional experts, as well as career opportunity information. Further details on these events can be found under the events section.
