A few words about Mini Pages and Buttons…
Most mini-pages inside the free website templates at Wix are linked through menus. Menus are like bars of buttons that link mini-pages. Buttons provide an interesting alternative to menus. You can use buttons instead of menus, or in addition to them. Buttons can be helpful when trying to focus a visitor's attention somewhere specific, at a specific location on your page.
How to Add a Button
Inside the Flash website builder, go to Page Parts, and click on Buttons. Select a style of button you wish to add. It will be automatically dropped onto your website. Click to drag it wherever you like, resize it, and customize using the property panel at the bottom of the editor. Click to change the text, color, font and alignment.
How to Link to a Page In Your Wix
Click on your button and click Link. You will see a link icon on the bottom of the editor. Select the "Page" tag, and click the blue "Select Page" tab. In the new dialogue box that opens, click on the page you want your button to link to, and click OK.
You can link pages and mini pages in Wix. Many free websites have "Enter" pages, from which a visitor clicks on an Enter button in order to appear within the site's main page.
How to Create a Button that Links to the Next / Previous Page
Click on your button and click Link. Select the "Advanced Features" tab on the left side of the Link window. Go to Prev-Next. Click Select, and inside the new dialogue box that opens, click either Prev or Next, and select the page you wish to link to.
Go Button Happy!
