Kicks
Kickboxing, perhaps unsurprisingly, includes drilling and practicing a variety of kicks. These drills can help you burn calories, and thus lose belly fat. To burn the most calories with each kick, lift your knee as high as you can without compromising the integrity of the kick. This engages the most muscles, demanding a higher amount of energy. You can shift the kick's focus to your abs by drawing your leg upward with your hips and gut, rather than pulling with your hamstrings and rear.
Punches
Kickboxing punches resemble boxing punches: jabs, straight punches, hooks, crosses and uppercuts. For these punches, the same technique will increase your calorie burn while simultaneously engaging the muscles of your core. Avoid swinging your arms with any punch. Instead, keep your arm relatively still in relation to your body. Move your arms instead by rotating your hips and waist. Drive the arms with your body; don't reach with your hands.
Knee Strikes
Knee strikes are among the most powerful weapons in a kickboxer's arsenal. As a fat reducing tool, you can make them more effective by engaging the muscles in your hips and lower abdomen. Contract those muscles to draw your leg upward and inward, then expand explosively to deliver the knee on target.
Weight Training

What are Semi Private Sessions?
Semi Private Session is personal training completed in a small group setting (maximum of 5). In this semi-private session, you will work together with me, Carol Medina, as your Certified fitness expert & instructor. Semi-private sessions are 45-50 minutes long.
Clients get guided through a full body strength training program customized to each individual's level of fitness, limitations, and experience.Clients are expected to and to be able to set up their equipment and be able to work more independently, but with my expert guidance, supervision, and motivation.
Semi-private sessions are lively and motivating and when done at least 3 times each week, really deliver visible and lasting results. Many clients take a mix of semi-private and private sessions. In this way they can continue their focused personal training with the energy and cost benefits of semi-privates.
