The following groups must carry a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) or other proof of competency when operating any motorboat (including a Personal Water Craft):
Operators of any powered watercraft under 13 foot, sea-doos and jet skis
Anyone born after April 1, 1983
All boaters must obtain a Pleasure Craft Operator Card by September 15, 2009.
You must obtain a grade of 75% on a 50 question Coast Guard accredited exam.
