It was certainly enought to comfortably set the new Official Guiness World Landspeed Record . Could we have hit the magical 100mph? Well, we think so had the conditions had been right and there had been enough time to make changes to our drive ratios and tweak our engine. Meanwhile, our good friend from the USA, Bobby Cleveland, has had a crack at our recordand has been faster on the lovely smooth Bonneville Salt Flats.
