FORMAT OF THE COURSE: In-depth 12 hours lectures on the rehabilitation of the shoulder with rich visuals. 9 take-home up-to-date treatment protocols. 8 self-study case studies. Video demonstrations of shoulder examinations. Practical.COURSE CONTENT:1. Pathoanatomy, clinical presentation & diagnosis (including imaging studies), physical examination, nonoperative, operative, and postoperative treatment of common shoulder problems.2. Clinical evaluation of the shoulder including postoperative evaluation, physical assessment, special tests and signs, and much more.3. Neuromechanical approach to shoulder rehabilitation.CONTACT HOURS:14 contact hours.RECOMMENDED FOR:Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists.VENUE:University of Jordan, Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences, Occupational Therapy Department, 5th floor, Room 501. (Use the southern gate, the faculty building will be the first building to the left).SCHEDULE:Friday: 30 / 4 / 2010 & Saturday: 01 / 05 / 2010:9 am 6.30 pm: 3 10-minute coffee breaks + 1 1.30-hour snacks and prayer break.CERTIFICATE:Upon successful completion and attendance, you will receive a Certificate of attendance from the University of Jordan, Center of Consultation.FEES:85 JOD: University of Jordan Students, 20% discount.
