This novel, My sisters Keeper, is a story of two middle class women who lead regular soccer-mom lifestyles. After the eldest of the sisters (Laura) loses a child through birth complications, the younger sister (Michelle) baby-sits her sister’s remaining child (Veronica) so Laura can take a therapeutic vacation with her husband. While in Michelle’s care, Veronica is involved in an accident. Not wishing to lose her sisters love, Michelle takes significant steps to conceal the incident. Michelle’s lies eventually land her in prison however, the story doesn’t end there, and that is where it begins. The bond these sisters have lead these two extraordinary women through one of the most exciting action sequences imagined.
