WE'VE COME SO FAR, AND WE
KEEP ON GOING!
With everyone welcoming me into the fold with my first CD, Livin’ The Blues, with enormous pride, I have to say that it was very well received. I can’t thank you all enough for that, as you know, no artist is an island.
Now I’ve got a new chapter rolling onto the scene, and I am very proud of this one, and I hope you like it too. Trouble With Lovin’ tells tales from unrequited love, to love gone wrong, to, ‘you better not try that again’….
We’ve been through it all, at one time or another, so I’m thinkin’ the stories here will hit home to so many of you.
I had the help of so many of my friends and band mates, so it’s made it all really special for me.
TC Davis, who has helped me through these evolving times, Mike Finnigan, Johnny Neel, and my ol’ bud, Danny Pelfrey made standouts of several tunes.
Some new kids on the block, Boyd Le Fan, Larry Knight Have been so gracious to help out on the CD as well as live gigs.
Larry Van Loon did some marvelous editing, and I can’t thank him enough. My guitar player, Kenne Cramer came up with a fantastic song, Blue Tears, and I couldn’t wait to give it the old college try…..
There’s a whole list of incredibly talented musicians that helped make this such a remarkable journey for me. Most everyone’s been listed on the CD, properly.
I want to especially thank, Bob Seger, Bonnie Raitt, Coco Montoya and Jimmy Hall for the wonderful quotes they so graciously gave me on my CD, Livin' The Blues!!
Not to miss, the amazing group of reviews that came out in Mary4Music, Bluesource, Blues Bytes and Blues Matters, Blues Blast etc.
I'm overwhelmed by the attention and great spirit being sent my way.
Now let's have the best year we've all had in a long time!!!!!
Times are hard, and the Blues makes you feel happy somehow, I like that about music, and I think that’s why you all are here too, and I thank you everyday!

This year’s going so fast! Here it is, almost the end of Summer, and things are still coming in. I’m about to have a great September, with lots of shows in the offing.
I’ve got some really special shows in Kansas City and the surrounding areas at the beginning of the month (Uncle Bo's in Topeka on the 2nd, and Knuckleheads on the 3rd)….Can’t wait to see you all there.
My new live CD and DVD will be available for pre-order within the next couple of weeks, and I’m really looking forward to the releases of my first ever, live discs.
I want to thank all the folks in the Detroit area for coming out and supporting this effort too. It’s so tough all over but the ‘D’ has been especially hard hit, so it makes it all the more dear to me that we had such a turnout!
