Staff Meet the Counseling StaffThe counseling staff at Jarrett Middle School is a partnership of caring, helpful professionals who seek to utilize and develop the strengths of each student. Through guidance lessons, workshops, individual meetings with students, and interaction with parents and teachers, Ms. Davis and Mrs. Viele strive to be accessible so that they can effectively meet student's academic and social needs. Feel free to call and schedule a meeting or conference with the counselors about your student's specific situation.Kara Davis has been a counselor at Jarrett since 2010. She practices counseling privately and has served as a middle school counselor at Hickory Hills in the past. Ms. Davis works with all students at Jarrett but is assigned specifically to the 8th grade. Liz Viele is beginning her first year at Jarrett. She has counseled in the past at the elementary level and has worked with all schools in the Parkview feeder pattern. Mrs. Viele works with all students at Jarrett but is assigned specifically to the 6th and 7th grade.
