Cowley Road Evening Worship is an opportunity to explore Christian faith and worship God regardless of your background or theology.
In our creative and contemporary services you can expect some music, a talk or discussion and opportunity for prayer and reflection in a wide variety of ways.

what we do
Although nothing is cast in stone and things may vary according to circumstances, our general pattern is for people to gather over coffee and cakes before we move on, around 8.15pm, to a time of worship led by our resident worship band.
The theme for the day will then be explored. This might be through a short talk, a film clip or other visual presentation, a drama or monologue, an interview, testimony, music, or some combination of all of these!
There is then time to respond to what has been presented by sharing in a number of prayer stations. These may simply allow space for quiet reflection, or may invite people to respond creatively, or via some form of social action.
The evening will be drawn together with a song. We aim to finish by about 9.15pm.

Cowley Road Evening Worship takes place at Cowley Road Methodist Church on Sunday evenings at 8pm - although we start with refreshments so don't worry if you're running late
