ERICA LANE
These are stories, thoughts, questions, and resolutions. Some are serious, some are fun, and others puzzling. Welcome to Erica Lane's repertoire. Her songs reflect life experiences mixed with human struggles and hopeful resolve. Her style is elegant, natural, compelling and uplifting. Her message is from the heart, from God's heart.
While growing up in north central Texas, Erica Lane was influenced by a wide array of artists from contemporary to pop/rock to classical, fusing styles that she loved into her own way of composing today. A former Miss Houston and graduate of Texas Tech University, she studied opera with soprano Kathy McNeil, performed at the Miss Texas Pageant on multiple ocassions, and was featured on Johnnie High's Country Music Review, TBN, Every Day with Marcus and Lisa, and Atlanta Live.
With notable performances at venues such as the Life Light Festival (Artist Ovation winner), The Promise at Glenrose, Lifeway's Gideon Media Arts Conference, Sam Houston Raceway, Embassy Club, Camden House of Beverly Hills, Moondance Awards Gala, St Paul's Cathedral in London (ensemble), along with featured music on soundtracks of over half a dozen film and television projects, including Hollywood On Fire and Priest Holmes: Elements of a Champion, she has earned her status as a respected independent artist of her genre.
Erica is the star and host of the Christian TV series, "Inspired Ambition" airing on the FamilyNet network. She currently lives in Nashville, TN with her husband (television and film producer), Kyle Saylors, and continues to tour across the US.
"You were anointed tonight, your songs, your music, and your testimony shows that."
